Datavetenskaps programmeringstävling is part of the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC), which is a world-wide contest for students with local and regional events, and a world final. The contest is about programming skills, problem solving and teamwork.
The ICPC is very large. Last year, over 40,000 students from roughly 2,700 universities in 102 countries competed in the contests which lead up to the World Finals in Phuket, Thailand, where 128 teams from all over the world competed.
Four teams from our region made it all the way to the World Finals: University of Helsinki, Utrecht University, Radboud University Nijmegen and Imperial College London.
A local annual event hosted by the Department of Computer Science since 1991! - part of the Nordic Collegiate Programming Contest (NCPC) and a possibility to qualify for the upcoming Regional Contest, November 18-20 2016, in Bath, UK.
