Datavetenskaps programmeringstävling is part of the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC), which is a world-wide contest for students with local and regional events, and a world final. The contest is about programming skills, problem solving and teamwork.
The ICPC is very large. Last year, over 46,000 students from roughly 2,950 universities in 103 countries competed in the contests which lead up to the World Finals in Rapid City, South Dakota, USA, where 133 teams from all over the world competed.
Three teams from our region made it all the way to the World Finals: University of Helsinki, University of Oxford and KTH - Royal Institute of Technology.
A local annual event hosted by the Department of Computer Science since 1991! - part of the Nordic Collegiate Programming Contest (NCPC) and a possibility to qualify for the upcoming Regional Contest, November 24-27 2017, in Bath, UK.
