Datavetenskaps programmeringstävling

Datavetenskaps programmeringstävling is part of the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC), which is a world-wide contest for students with local and regional events, and a world final. The contest is about programming skills, problem solving and teamwork. The ICPC is very large. Last year, more than 24,000 students from more than 2000 universities in 88 countries competed in the contests which lead up to the World Finals in Orlando, USA, where 103 teams from all over the world competed. Three teams from our region made it all the way to the World Finals where Friedrich-Alexander-University from Erlangen-Nuremberg finished in 7th place!

A local annual event hosted by the Department of Computer Science since 1991! - part of the Nordic Collegiate Programming Contest (NCPC) and a possibility to qualify for the upcoming Regional Contest, November 25-27 2011, in Bremen, Germany.
