Datavetenskaps programmeringstävling is part of the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC), which is a world-wide contest for students with local and regional events, and a world final. The contest is about programming skills, problem solving and teamwork.
The ICPC is very large. Last year, almost 50,000 students from roughly 3,100 universities in 111 countries competed in the contests which lead up to the World Finals in Beijing, China, where 140 teams from all over the world competed.
Five teams from our region made it all the way to the World Finals in Beijing: University of Cambridge, University of Helsinki, University of Oxford, University of Bergen and Utrecht University.
A local annual event hosted by the Department of Computer Science since 1991! - part of the Nordic Collegiate Programming Contest (NCPC) and a possibility to qualify for the upcoming Regional Contest, November 23-25 2018, in Eindhoven, NL.
