The department of Computer Science participates in the following research centers
WASP - Wallenberg Autonomous Systems Program
Wallenberg Autonomous Systems Program (WASP) is Sweden’s largest individual research program ever.
WASP involves five Swedish universities: Chalmers, KTH, Linköping University, Lund University, and Umeå University together with numerous Swedish industries. At Lund University the following four departments participate: Department of Automatic Control, Department of Computer Science, Department of Electrical and Information Technology, and the Matematical Imaging Group at the Department of Mathematics.
The program director for WASP is Professor Lars Nielsen, Linköping University and the coordinator for Lund University is Professor Karl-Erik Årzén.
The department of Computer Science currently participates with the following researchers: Görel Hedin, Per Runeson, Jacek Malec, Boris Magnusson, Elizabeth Bjarnason, Elin Anna Topp.We currently have two regular WASP PhD students (Alfred Åkesson, Rasmus Ros), and one industrial PhD student (Mårten Lager).
We are currently recruiting an Associate Professor in Software Technology, with strong WASP financiation. See open positions.
