The Software Engineering Research Group (SERG) is focused on techniques, methods and processes for development of large complex software intensive systems. Current areas of research include Requirements Engineering, Verification & Validation, Software Quality Process, System Safety and Software Architecture.
The research results may be applied to a variety of application areas ranging from small embedded systems to large software applications. Most of the research is conducted with close industrial contacts using empirical methods, including surveys, experiments and case studies.
