The set of five assignments are handed out at the first lecture.
Solutions to the assignments shall be handed in to the teacher no later than 13.15 on the 16/9, 23/9, 30/9, 7/10, and 14/10. They can also be put in the course box in the stairwell near the notice-board for CS courses, no later than 13.10 on Thursdays.

Solutions must be handed in on time, and may contribute to the course grade (see Examination).

Marked assignments are returned at the Tuesday lectures.

You may discuss the assignments generally with course participants, but you shall work out the details and write down your own solutions. It is not allowed to copy someone else's solution (it is considered cheating). You are responsible for your solution and shall be able explain it when the teacher asks you.

Try to be as clear and precise as possible, the understandability of a solution is as necessary as its correctness.
